Hurdles

Greetings my friends...I'm now 40 and still feeling fine. Had a great weekend, I really did, but, it was littered with hurdles. What do I mean by that? Well, lets take a small trip with me through my weekend.

It started Friday, it was my birthday and I took the day off of work. I was going to go work out, but, then nothing worked out and working out was sidelined. I thought that would be ok, since I'm doing a musical over the weekend and I was bound to get exercise, dancing and running around like a fool. Which is probably true if you take out the food I ate on my birthday. Let's just say it really wasn't on diet.

Saturday, we had a birthday party with our families for myself and my wife. Her birthday is this coming Friday. There was a lot of food that was not on the diet again and though I worked to be "better" I failed. Remember, the times I have written about failing? Here is one of those times. I didn't workout, because we had to get the house ready for guests and then after that I had to do the show again.

Sunday, between being over-tired from going out and celebrating with friends for the big 4-0 birthday, let's just say again exercise was out. I did the show again and then went home and crashed. I did nothing much of anything. I was a lump. Which brings us to today...

Monday, I got up to go workout and have been in pain all day. Not sure what is going on, but, I'll get through it. No exercise today. However, here is the plan going forward...

Hurdles - Let's get rid of them. I will be working out tomorrow. I will be working out Wednesday morning, and I will be back on my schedule completely by the end of next week. I do have four more shows to do, so I can not promise myself anything, except that I will try. I will facedown these hurdles and I will overcome them.

Remember people, we are all human and we will all fail at some point in our journey. I failed this past weekend. IT WILL NOT DEFEAT ME! I will fail again. It's my determination and my commitment to my lifestyle that I can overcome these hurdles. I hope you find something in here that makes you think...that's me! I know if he can do it, I can do it. I hope that my telling you that this is possible, there is some part of you that believes me and acts upon that belief. Let's win together!

Until next time Gentle Reader,

Jaxion Rebel
