Greetings and salutations fellow travelers,
Today I am reminded how we can be our own worst enemies with our mindset because with it we can face obstacles that we have to overcome but get trapped in how to overcome or the fear of not overcoming.
Too many times we speak to ourselves mentally and take no action because we create fear or an obstacle that really isn't there. For example saying to ourselves that we aren't worthy or that someone will laugh at us is one or two that I face regularly. But the truth is that we are worthy and that we can laugh with someone and they aren't laughing at us.
When we get stuck in this "mental rut" it can be challenging to get out of our heads so to speak because without mentality we wouldn't be as far as we are today. It is also challenging because our mind while our greatest strength can inhibit us from our true potential because of thinking too much at times. For me I have often created fears or obstacles that were only there mentally but became physical because of the strong mentality I felt. To overcome this obstacle it requires changing the mind but also support from others. That means being able to tell someone what you are experiencing mentally as well as being able to have support because trying to do it alone is okay, but much more difficult. We as a people were created or designed to help each other and be apart of other people's lives. While some may say solitude and doing it alone can be good or even healthy, in my experience doing anything alone over time can be much more difficult as well as harder to stay on track.
However overcoming obstacles in life be it mentally or actually physical is more fun when doing it with someone who is there for you when others are not. What I mean is we all have that one or more persons in our lives who is our true support and our true guidance to overcoming said obstacle.
So no matter what you may be facing today, know that you aren't alone and that someone somewhere probably has faced what you are facing and you can overcome this obstacle.
May your journey be bright and your travels be many fellow believers.
