Have you ever gotten zero results from doing a workout routine over and over again? Like you have been working harder, eating clean and healthy, drinking plenty of water but you keep doing the same workout routine over and over again and nothing?
Well our bodies as much as we like variety in our diets daily, it is the same with working out.
For me personally I was in a rut with Jillian Michaels. I would be doing her ripped in 30 over and over again because I didn't know what else I felt like doing.
So thankfully I found some new material, and that has helped kick up things a notch and begin to feel like I am making progress again.
Plus with the weather now at temperatures that I love to be outside, my goal is to get outside more. First step is to get a new bike tire for my bicycle, I love bike riding. And my bicycle is a 21 speed, which makes it a great workout for the legs because I can make it have more resistance considering I don't have many hills to ride up and down here.
Another option for switching up routines (if you don't have access to a gym like myself right now) is to google workout videos or youtube. I have my own workout channel, which is specifically various times and types/styles of work out routines that I have found over the years and I love them.
My favorite go to for home workouts is of course Jillian Michaels, because she has so much out there and she really kicks your ass into gear if you are just starting out, or if you are getting back on track. So now that I have more of her videos, I am not going to be bored any time soon.
The key for myself has been switching up workouts and increasing my activity, like working out at least once everyday for minimum 20 minutes, and now trying to get into working out 2 times daily.
That's all she wrote for now.
Stay positive, don't phone this in, keep moving forward and
Namaste.
